Volunteer Opportunities
Classroom Assistance
Help our teachers in the classroom by assisting students with activities, providing one-on-one attention, and supporting educational programs. Classroom volunteers work under the guidance of our special education teachers and contribute to creating a positive learning environment.
Recreational Activities
Organize and participate in recreational activities such as sports, arts and crafts, music, and games that help our students develop social skills and have fun. Recreational volunteers bring energy and creativity to our school and help create joyful experiences for our students.
Event Planning
Help plan and execute special events such as the Blessed Allamano Feast Day, sports competitions, and other celebrations that bring joy to our students. Event volunteers assist with organization, decoration, coordination, and ensuring the smooth running of events.
Administrative Support
Provide assistance with administrative tasks such as organizing files, data entry, preparing materials, and other office duties. Administrative volunteers help our staff focus more time on direct student care and education by handling important behind-the-scenes work.
Fundraising
Participate in fundraising activities to support the school's programs and facilities. Fundraising volunteers help organize campaigns, reach out to potential donors, and raise awareness about the school's needs and mission in the community.
Specialized Skills

Volunteer Requirements
General Requirements
- Minimum age of 16 years (younger volunteers must be accompanied by an adult)
- Compassion and patience when working with children with disabilities
- Willingness to learn about disabilities and special education
- Reliability and commitment to scheduled volunteer times
- Respect for confidentiality and privacy of our students
Regular Volunteers
- Commitment of at least 3 months
- Attendance at volunteer orientation and training
- Background check (for those working directly with students)

No special qualifications are required for most volunteer positions. We provide orientation and training for all volunteers. How much time do I need to commit?
